OMUSUBI isa rice ball. It is a Japanese food which is made of rice. We shape the rice into a triangle and a ball. We put various ingredients – a pickles plum, salmon, tuna, etc – inside a rice ball. It is also called ONIGIRI.
The name – ONIGIRI- originates from “ cut ( kiru- Japanese ) ogres ( oni-Japanese ) “.
The name – OMUSUBI – originates from creating a connection ( musubu- Japanese ) between people and cultures.
I hope that I can support you create a connection between Japanese people and Japanese cultures. I’m looking forward to meeting you who want to learn Japanese.

Lessons are available online with no regional restrictions.
